Interiors unmarked and very clean. Out-of-print. (2) 6 x 8.5 hard cover books banded together so they can either be viewed as a 6 x 17 book (bound so the bottom and top fore edges of the books touch) or back-to back. The volumes are housed in a black slipcase. Both volumes are well illustrated in both color and b/w. The first volume (or top volume) has an illustrated timeline of Schmidt's work; the second volume (or bottom volume if you prefer) contains twenty-six essays, letters, ephemera, etc. by Hans Hillmann, Rochus Kowallek, Wolfgang Schmidt, Eckhard Neumann, Franz Mon, Wendelin Niedlich, Rolf Lobeck, Dietrich Mahlow, Hans Michel, Gisela Brackert, Helmut Schmidt-Rhen, Heidi Homann, Markus Merz, Paul Armbruster and Uberblick.
