A CONTEMPORARY DESIGN SOURCE REFERENCE

Phillip L. Pritchard (editor)

Phillip L. Pritchard (editor): FURNITURE FORUM ANNUAL. A CONTEMPORARY DESIGN SOURCE REFERENCE. Sarasota: Furniture Forum, Inc. 1967 [Volume 17]. First edition. A near-fine hardcover book in full, screen-printed cloth issued without Dust jacket. Trace of wear overall. A nice copy of this scarce, highly-coveted reference series.

8.5 x 11.25 hardcover book with 132 pages and many b/w photographs and a few color plates. This volume is a goldmine of reference material for identifying mid-sixties contemporary furniture and home fixtures, but you probably already knew that, didn't you?

This book includes home and institutional furniture, sculpture, lighting, wallpaper and floor coverings (rugs). The Furniture Forum advisory board for 1967 included Pietro Belluschi, Serge Chermayeff, Anne Frank, Alexander Girard, Victor Gruen, Ernest Kump, George Nelson, Richard Neutra, Hugh Stubbins and others.
