9 x 12.25 softcover book profusely illustrated with 102 pages of Photo-Lettering alphabets including 68 type styles. Introduction by George Sohn, President of Photo-Lettering. Design by Ed Benguiat. 1977 was Photo-Lettering's 40th anniversary. By that time, the company had accrued an impressive list of firsts: "First negaotiated alphabet royalty agreement . . . First with the revival of Art Nouveau Xenotypes. First Bauhaus revival . . . First to have over 9,000 alphabets, the largest single collection in the world today."

The 68 type styles include Art Deco, Bauhaus, Busorama, Calligraphics, Deco, Egyptians, Fiorella, Futura, Hess, Lubalin Graph, Nouveau, Novelties, Old English, Outlines, Pictorials, Prisma, Radiant, San Serifs, Tiffany and many more.
