THE ART OF COLOR Johannes Itten
Johannes Itten: THE ART OF COLOR. NYC: Reinhold, 1961. Second printing
from 1962. A very good hardcover book in a very good dust jacket: dj has
several short, closed tears and wear to edges. Page edges are lightly
soiled. Interior unmarked and clean. Out-of-print. A large, unwieldy
volume that is scarce in the original edition.
12.5 x 11.5 hardcover book with 156 pages and over 200 color plates
tipped in. Translated by Ernst van Hagen. A magnificent, oversized folio
with gorgeous leterpress printing combined with tipped-in plates printed in
Vienna, France and Germany. They truly don't make them like this anymore.
