TRYLON AND PERISPHERE
THE 1939 NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR
Steven Heller, Seymour Chwast and Barbara Cohen

Steven Heller, Seymour Chwast and Barbara Cohen: TRYLON AND PERISPHERE: THE 1939 NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR. NYC: A Pushpin Edition with Harry N. Abrams, Inc., 1989. First edition. A fine oversized (elephant folio) softcover book in stiff, printed wrappers: close inspection reveals very light wear; most uncommon for this unwieldy volume. Intrerior unmarked and very clean. Out-of-print.

11.25 x 16 softcover book with 80 pages and 290 illustrations, including 175 color plates. Art Directed by Sam Antupit. A beautiful copy of one of the best books on The 1939 New York World's Fair. This book was produced to the high standards you would expect from the Push Pin Group. Heller and Chwast were on a roll with their DESIGN AND STYLE series for the Mohawk paper Mills at the time they produced this volume and both men are at the tops of their games. Chwast contributes many example sof original ephemera from his private collection and assembeld the book with great care and sensitivity. My highest recommendation.
